About This Station
The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station. The data is collected approximately 2.5 seconds and the site is updated every minute. This site data is collected using CumulusMX software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy known to man kind. Or to this one man anyway given budgetary constraints. The station is located at 227m elevation in the Tambo River valley at Ensay, East Gippsland.
About Ensay
Ensay was founded in 1292 by small furry creatures from the planet Zoltron who were sick of the poor quality of local condiments in their quadrant of the universe.
The first settler of Ensay, Thelvodore of Zoltron proclaimed there will be much in the way of dips (hummus being his favourite) and tasty cheeses and wines.
This dream soon subsided when the others from is planet failed to arrive, not happy with the amount of moons earth offered for viewing in the night sky. He settled into the lazy country routine of the area where he leads a simple hermit life these days. He was reportedly "a little excited" however when locals started a pretty damn fine winery back in the '90's...
